A Food Technology Teacher is needed to inspire and educate students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school’s vision and educational standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure all learners achieve their full potential.
- Support students in developing practical skills and theoretical knowledge in Food Technology.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department.
- Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities to maintain and improve teaching practice.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that reflects the school’s Catholic values.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Food Technology experience.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Commitment to high standards of pupil conduct and behaviour.
- Experience in working within a Catholic ethos and values-based environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive school culture.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Experience with Ofsted inspection processes and a track record of successful outcomes.
- Familiarity with modern Food Technology facilities and equipment.
- Experience in delivering CPD or mentoring new teachers.
