The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative French Teacher to join our vibrant and successful French Department. This role offers the opportunity to shape curriculum development and deliver engaging learning experiences to students across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality French lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the school’s French curriculum.
• Support students in achieving academic success through innovative and adaptable teaching methods.
• Participate in the school’s extracurricular programme and take on a pastoral role as a tutor or support tutor.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Modern Foreign Languages Faculty to enhance teaching and learning.
• Stay current with developments in French education and integrate new methodologies into teaching practice.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them reach their full potential.
• Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A degree in French or a relevant subject.
• A recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience of teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and innovative lessons.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and growth.

Preferred

• Experience teaching an additional language such as Spanish or German.
• Experience teaching the IB Diploma.
• Experience teaching CIE IGCSE French.
