The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated STEAM Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of engaging pre-engineering and STEAM activities during the Summer Camp programme. This role involves assisting with the assembly of the Bufori EViE Kart, facilitating hands-on learning, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for students aged 9 and above.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of pre-engineering and STEAM lessons and hands-on activities.
  • Assist with the assembly of the Bufori EViE Kart and STEAM project kits.
  • Adapt lesson content to meet diverse student needs and ability levels.
  • Collaborate with the programme coordinator to plan and deliver two-week camp schedules.
  • Supervise students and ensure they are never left unattended.
  • Support evening activities, excursions, and airport transfers.
  • Maintain responsibility for materials and ensure areas are clean and organised.
  • Provide first aid support and report any injuries or illnesses promptly.
  • Participate in training days, safeguarding sessions, and staff meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree in engineering, computer science, or new technologies.
  • Strong background in engineering and STEAM.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be 19 years of age or older.
  • Advanced or proficient English level (C1–C2 required).
  • Valid permission to work within the EU.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in curriculum delivery.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
