The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Full Time Cleaner - Split Shift to join our Premises team and help maintain the high standards of our College buildings. This role requires a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain College buildings to the highest standards
  • Ensure all areas are kept tidy, safe, and hygienic at all times
  • Follow health and safety procedures and report any issues immediately
  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings and afternoons, with the possibility of overtime
  • Assist with special projects and events as required
  • Adhere to the school’s values and safeguarding policies
  • Maintain a punctual and reliable attendance record
  • Collaborate with the Premises team to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in cleaning or a similar role
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
  • Excellent attendance record and punctuality
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and afternoons
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Preferred

  • Experience working in an educational setting
  • Previous experience with DBS checks or similar vetting processes
  • Knowledge of using cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Ability to work as part of a team
