The Opportunity:

As a Funding and Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the school meets all funding and compliance requirements. This position is essential to supporting the financial health and operational success of a high-performing institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate funding registers and timetables.
• Support the submission of ILR (Individualised Learner Record) data in line with national frameworks.
• Assist in the preparation and audit of funding data using relevant software.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the college to maximise income generation.
• Conduct regular reviews of funding arrangements and reporting procedures.
• Provide expert guidance on funding methodologies and compliance standards.
• Participate in internal audits and ensure all documentation is up to date.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in the further education sector, preferably with knowledge of funding methodologies.
• Proven experience with ILR submissions, audit software, and enrolment systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Previous experience with registers and timetables.
• Familiarity with KCSIE and safeguarding procedures.
• Experience in a college or educational institution setting.
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
