The Opportunity:

As an Industry Engagement Manager - Music, Games, Film & TV, you will lead the development of impactful industry engagement and progression programmes that support trainees in building the skills and confidence needed for careers in the creative industries. This role is ideal for someone passionate about bridging education with real-world opportunities and helping young people achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-impact industry engagement, careers education and progression pathways for trainees.
  • Oversee a wide range of activities including work experience, masterclasses, workshops and careers events.
  • Collaborate with curriculum staff and industry partners to design programmes that build professional skills and industry awareness.
  • Lead the development of the Industry Readiness Programme, embedding essential employability skills such as networking, CV writing and interview preparation.
  • Provide targeted 1:1 careers support to help trainees make informed decisions about their next steps.
  • Ensure all opportunities are well structured, high quality and accessible to all trainees.
  • Support trainees in navigating pathways into employment, apprenticeships and higher education.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align programme delivery with the school's mission and vision.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in programme delivery, careers guidance or industry engagement.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to widening access and creating opportunities for young people in the creative industries.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, trainees and industry partners.

Preferred

  • Experience in the music, games, film or television sectors.
  • Background in education or youth development.
  • Familiarity with careers support and progression planning.
  • Experience with curriculum development or training delivery.
