Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging teaching across full-time and part-time GCSE English programmes.
• Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities that promote essential skills such as literacy and numeracy.
• Contribute to curriculum development and support the delivery of basic and key skills.
• Maximize learner attendance, retention, and punctuality within assigned groups.
• Support the use of digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
• Provide constructive feedback to learners to support their progress and achievement.
• Stay up to date with current educational initiatives and best practices in teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Comprehensive subject knowledge in English.
• Strong understanding of current educational initiatives and teaching methodologies.
• Intermediate IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to plan and deliver effective learning activities.
