Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging teaching across a range of full-time and part-time programmes.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities that promote essential skills such as literacy, numeracy, and digital capability.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and support the delivery of basic and key skills.
  • Maximize learner attendance, retention, and punctuality within assigned groups.
  • Ensure an outstanding learning experience for all students through innovative and inclusive teaching methods.
  • Support the development of teaching materials that reflect current educational initiatives and industry standards.
  • Utilize IT tools such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Engage with learners and provide guidance to help them achieve their academic and career goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Comprehensive subject knowledge in film and content creation.
  • Strong understanding of current educational initiatives and teaching methodologies.
  • Intermediate IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to plan, prepare, and assess learning activities effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience with learner management systems and e-learning platforms.
  • Familiarity with virtual learning environments and student record systems.
  • Experience in developing innovative teaching materials and resources.
  • Background in delivering content creation and film-related courses.
