The Opportunity:

As a Geography Teacher, you will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with dynamic, engaging lessons that foster curiosity and a deep understanding of global issues. You will play a vital role in delivering academic excellence and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Geography lessons that develop students’ knowledge and skills.
  • Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support learning and development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices within the faculty.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students in developing a strong understanding of geographical concepts and their real-world applications.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of cross-curricular initiatives and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow school procedures for student assessment and reporting.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Geography education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Geography education.
  • Ability to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Commitment to outstanding classroom practice and student achievement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in assessing student progress and providing effective feedback.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
