Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver high-quality education and continuous improvement.

  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community to build a united and supportive environment.
  • Oversee the curriculum and ensure it reflects the school’s mission of providing a well-rounded education.
  • Manage school operations, including staff development, resources, and facilities, to support student achievement.
  • Monitor and report on academic performance, ensuring all students reach their full potential.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, diversity, and excellence across the school.
  • Work closely with the Regional Director and United Learning to access support and resources for professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a school setting, ideally at a senior level.
  • A strong track record in driving improvement and achieving educational outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff, students, and parents.
  • A deep understanding of educational policy, curriculum development, and school management.
  • A commitment to inclusion, diversity, and safeguarding.

Preferred

  • Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational organization.
  • Knowledge of Education with Character and its impact on student development.
  • Experience in managing large teams and leading change initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the United Learning framework and values.
