The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver imaginative and engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, including preparation for GCSEs.
• Utilise innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular opportunities.
• Track, assess, and report on student progress and attainment.
• Support the social and emotional development of students through tutor group responsibilities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of individualised learning plans tailored to student needs.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Geography.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography, including GCSE preparation.
• Commitment to working in a specialist SEN environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

• Experience supporting students with autism or other special educational needs.
• Knowledge of SEN and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Experience with cross-curricular planning and delivery.
• Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a strong desire for professional growth.
• Familiarity with Cavendish Education or similar school networks.
