Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Geography at GCSE and A2 levels, delivering engaging and impactful lessons.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the British educational standards.
  • Support students in achieving academic success through differentiated instruction and pastoral care.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Participate in school events, rituals, and co-curricular activities that promote a well-rounded education.
  • Mentor and guide students in their academic and personal growth.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Geography and education, incorporating new ideas into teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related subject, along with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Geography at GCSE and A2 levels.
  • Strong knowledge of the British curriculum and its delivery in an international setting.
  • Commitment to academic excellence, pastoral care, and holistic education.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching in a UK setting or a renowned British curriculum school.
  • Familiarity with international education standards and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to contribute to the school’s co-curricular and pastoral programmes.
