The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Geography up to A Level, ensuring a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that promote critical thinking and a deep understanding of geographical concepts.
- Support students in achieving excellent academic results at GCSE and A Level.
- Participate in the co-curricular life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
- Contribute to the induction and professional development of early career teachers.
- Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Geography.
- Experience teaching Geography at GCSE and A Level.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality education and student achievement.
- Willingness to participate in co-curricular activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with the UK curriculum and examination systems.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Previous experience in a school with a strong co-curricular programme.
- Background in pastoral care or student support.
