The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Geography lessons that are engaging, challenging, and aligned with curriculum standards.

- Support the personal and academic development of students through tailored interventions and pastoral care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Geography department.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and school events that promote Geography and related subjects.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject.
- Proven experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education practices.
Preferred
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
- Familiarity with research-informed teaching strategies.
- Experience in delivering extracurricular Geography-related activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-academy trust.
