We are seeking a passionate and skilled Geography Teacher to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Humanities department. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons that promote student curiosity and understanding of human and physical processes.
- Develop and implement a high-quality, inclusive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and formative assessment.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department to enhance teaching and learning across the faculty.
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and staff development initiatives.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that promote Geography and wider learning.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Geography.
- Experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level.
- Commitment to student achievement and inclusive education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
- Familiarity with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL) or working with diverse student populations.
- Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the department.
