Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality German lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Develop engaging and innovative teaching resources and strategies.
• Support students’ personal development and academic progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s strong academic record.
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
• Participate in the school’s extra-curricular activities and trips.
• Contribute to the school’s ethos and Catholic values.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
• Proven experience teaching German at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching German.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with teaching in a Catholic school setting.
• Familiarity with the school’s curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities.
• Experience in developing and delivering SMSC and CPSHE education.
• Experience with teaching outside the classroom, including trips and residentials.
