Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that promote academic excellence and a love of the German language
• Create inclusive and differentiated learning experiences that meet the needs of all students
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the curriculum
• Manage and develop a range of teaching resources that support diverse learning needs
• Support students in developing language skills through immersive and interactive methods
• Work closely with support staff to ensure a consistent and effective learning environment
• Encourage student participation and engagement in both academic and co-curricular activities
• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and respect

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Degree in German or a related subject
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons that meet curriculum standards
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Experience in teaching German at secondary level

Preferred

• Experience in developing and delivering innovative teaching strategies
• Familiarity with digital tools and resources for language teaching
• Experience in working with diverse student populations
• Commitment to extra-curricular activities and student engagement
