Key Responsibilities:

• Teach German to students from Y7 through to Y13, including A Level and IGCSE.
• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that encourage student enthusiasm and academic achievement.
• Prepare students for exams, including Cambridge IGCSE and AQA A Level, as well as the Goethe-Zertifikat B1.
• Utilize high-quality resources and bespoke materials to enhance teaching and learning.

• Collaborate with colleagues to provide a cohesive and stimulating learning experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in teaching German up to A Level.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to stretch high-achieving students.
• Experience in preparing students for academic success, including Oxbridge-level study.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Cambridge IGCSE or AQA A Level German.
• Familiarity with Goethe-Zertifikat B1 qualification.
• Experience in co-curricular and extracurricular provision.
• Background in a selective or independent school setting.
