The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated German Teacher with French to join our vibrant academic community. Full-time candidates will teach French to GCSE, while part-time candidates may focus on German.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach German and French to students across a range of age groups and abilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students
- Prepare and assess students in line with curriculum requirements
- Support students in achieving academic success and personal development
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and language-related events
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching German and French at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge in both German and French
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Experience teaching French to GCSE level
- Experience with bilingual education or teaching in a multilingual environment
- Familiarity with the UK curriculum and assessment systems
- Experience with digital tools and online learning platforms
