Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic academic leadership and support the school’s transition to co-education
- Oversee curriculum development, assessment, and policy across the school
- Ensure quality assurance and maintain high academic standards
- Lead safeguarding initiatives and promote a culture of safety and well-being
- Manage and support academic staff, providing guidance and professional development
- Contribute to the Senior Leadership Team and help shape whole-school strategy
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in academic leadership within a school setting
- Strong background in curriculum development and assessment
- Experience in managing and leading academic staff
- Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being
- Ability to work effectively within a senior leadership team
Preferred
- Experience in leading change and transformation in education
- Background in co-educational or inclusive school environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in teaching within a specialist subject area
