Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with pastoral care and welfare needs through regular communication and engagement
- Assist in organizing and delivering wellbeing-related activities and events
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress using IT systems
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure a consistent approach to student support
- Provide guidance and support to students in a respectful, confidential, and empathetic manner
- Contribute to the development of school policies and practices that promote student wellbeing
- Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Assist in the implementation of initiatives that support student mental health and emotional wellbeing
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Educated to degree level or currently undertaking a degree level qualification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic school environment
- Basic IT proficiency for record keeping and communication purposes
Preferred
- Experience in pastoral care or student support
- Knowledge of child development and wellbeing practices
- Experience working in a multicultural or international setting
- Previous involvement in educational or community-based projects
