Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with pastoral care and welfare needs through regular communication and engagement
  • Assist in organizing and delivering wellbeing-related activities and events

  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure a consistent approach to student support
  • Provide guidance and support to students in a respectful, confidential, and empathetic manner
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and practices that promote student wellbeing
  • Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Assist in the implementation of initiatives that support student mental health and emotional wellbeing

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Educated to degree level or currently undertaking a degree level qualification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic school environment
  • Basic IT proficiency for record keeping and communication purposes

Preferred

  • Experience in pastoral care or student support
  • Knowledge of child development and wellbeing practices
  • Experience working in a multicultural or international setting
  • Previous involvement in educational or community-based projects
