Head of Primary School seeks experienced leader to manage and inspire a dynamic international primary school.

The Opportunity:

As Head of Primary School, you will lead the strategic direction and daily operations of the primary school, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, internationally recognized education. This role is central to shaping the future of young learners and driving the school’s mission of preparing students to become global leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the strategic development and implementation of the primary school’s educational vision and mission.
  • Oversee the academic and pastoral care of students, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Secondary and leadership team to align primary and secondary school strategies and outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning practices to maintain the highest standards of education.
  • Support the professional development of teaching and support staff to enhance student achievement and engagement.
  • Represent the school at internal and external events, fostering positive relationships with parents, students, and the wider community.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant educational standards, policies, and accreditation requirements.
  • Develop and implement school improvement plans that reflect the school’s ethos and strategic goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Head of Primary or similar leadership role in an international school setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
  • In-depth knowledge of international curricula, including the English National Curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead large teams effectively, with a focus on continuous improvement and student outcomes.
  • Experience in school operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning.

Preferred

  • Experience with IGCSE and CAIE qualifications.
  • Familiarity with Quantum Learning methodologies and teacher development programs.
  • Experience in a multicultural and international environment.
  • Knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin language education.
  • Experience in developing and implementing school-wide improvement initiatives.
