The Opportunity:
The Head of Pre-Prep and Prep School is a key leadership role within a prestigious educational trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the school’s development and ensuring the continued delivery of high standards in academic, pastoral, and co-curricular areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the strategic direction of the Pre-Prep and Prep School.
- Work closely with the Trust’s Senior Leadership Team and Governors to shape Trust-wide policy and strategy.
- Oversee the academic, pastoral, and co-curricular provision to ensure excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the Headmaster of the Trust and Deputy Heads to implement Trust-wide decisions.
- Support and develop the Senior Leadership Team at Hampton Prep.
- Foster a strong and positive school culture aligned with the Trust’s ethos and values.
- Monitor and report on the school’s performance and progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a senior educational role.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
- A commitment to the Trust’s ethos, values, and culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing a school or department within a multi-academy trust or similar structure.
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a preparatory school or similar institution.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and compliance procedures.
- Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
- Leadership in co-curricular and extra-curricular programs.
- Experience in school improvement and performance management.
