The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support teachers in delivering high-quality learning to Reception students. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and committed to helping children reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
• Help prepare and organize learning resources and materials
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students as needed
• Monitor and record student progress and development
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure consistency in teaching and learning
• Encourage and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant qualification or previous experience working with children
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A genuine love of learning and commitment to supporting children’s development
• Flexibility and adaptability to work within a dynamic school environment

Preferred

• Experience in a teaching or learning support role
• Knowledge of early years education and child development
• Experience with teaching English as a second language
• Previous experience working within a school or educational setting
