The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team and ensure a safe, positive, and well-managed lunchtime experience for students. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and structured environment during meal times and outdoor activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in the dining hall, promoting good table manners and healthy eating habits.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment by clearing tables and managing spillages.
  • Oversee students during lunchtime in the playground or during wet-play sessions, ensuring their safety and engagement.
  • Encourage appropriate behavior and positive interactions among students.
  • Assist in organizing and managing lunchtime activities and routines.
  • Support the wider school community by contributing to a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Participate in training sessions, including first aid if required.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during lunchtime.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A reliable and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and supervise children effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Willingness to undertake first aid training if necessary.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or care setting.
  • Knowledge of child development and behavior management.
  • Experience in a school or educational environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work within a busy and dynamic team.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £16.98.
