The Opportunity:

The Head of Technology and Digital Services will lead the school’s technology strategy, ensuring a secure, resilient, and future-ready digital ecosystem that supports teaching, learning, and operational excellence. This role is central to driving innovation and enabling the school’s educational vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the school’s technology environment and digital services.
  • Develop and implement a secure, resilient, and future-ready technology infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with academic and operational leadership to align technology with educational goals.
  • Oversee the delivery of IT services that support teaching, learning, and administrative functions.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and data protection regulations.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing IT team.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends to support continuous improvement.
  • Support the integration of digital tools and platforms across the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, with responsibility for both strategy and service delivery.
  • Strong technical background in infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
  • Ability to translate educational ambitions into scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing large-scale IT projects or transformations.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving digital innovation within an educational institution.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and learning management systems.
