The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Onsite IT Support to join our dynamic team and ensure seamless technology operations across the school. This role is essential in maintaining the school’s digital infrastructure and supporting staff and students in a forward-thinking educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line IT support to staff and students across all school locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain and manage the school’s IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth technology integration.
- Ensure data security and compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Deliver training and support to users on IT systems and software.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Assist with the planning and execution of IT projects and upgrades.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in IT support, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and data protection standards.
Preferred
- Experience with educational technology platforms and tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Previous experience in a school or multi-site environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and patience when dealing with users of all ages.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £27,000 - £32,000 per annum.
- Full-time, permanent contract with standard working hours.
