The Opportunity:
As the Head’s PA and Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Head and managing the admissions process. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of a vibrant, inclusive school community, where your organisational skills and warm approach will make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the Head’s diary and schedule efficiently
- Support the admissions process by liaising with prospective families and answering inquiries
- Organise and manage events such as Open Mornings and school visits
- Ensure smooth communication with parents, staff, and external stakeholders
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to the school and its community
- Provide a welcoming and professional front-of-house presence
- Assist with the management of school policies and procedures
- Support the Head in strategic and administrative tasks as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in a school or similar environment
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Proactive and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred
- Previous experience in a PA or administrative role
- Experience with school admissions processes
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
- Familiarity with educational environments and pupil needs
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £33,000 - £38,000 (F.T.E £38,133-£43,911)
