The Opportunity:

As the Head’s PA and Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Head and managing the admissions process. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of a vibrant, inclusive school community, where your organisational skills and warm approach will make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the Head’s diary and schedule efficiently
  • Support the admissions process by liaising with prospective families and answering inquiries
  • Organise and manage events such as Open Mornings and school visits
  • Ensure smooth communication with parents, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to the school and its community
  • Provide a welcoming and professional front-of-house presence
  • Assist with the management of school policies and procedures
  • Support the Head in strategic and administrative tasks as required

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in a school or similar environment
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive and adaptable approach to work
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a PA or administrative role
  • Experience with school admissions processes
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
  • Familiarity with educational environments and pupil needs

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £33,000 - £38,000 (F.T.E £38,133-£43,911)
