Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong, visible leadership in the strategic and day-to-day management of the school.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture rooted in the school’s vision and values.
  • Ensure high-quality teaching and learning, with a focus on student progress and achievement.
  • Develop and implement effective policies and practices that support the school’s mission and values.
  • Collaborate with the governing body, staff, and wider community to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote a safe and supportive environment for all students, with a safeguarding-first approach.
  • Lead and support staff through professional development and innovative teaching practices.
  • Manage the school’s resources and facilities to ensure a well-maintained and inspiring learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in senior leadership, preferably in a faith-based primary school.
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted and SIAMS inspection frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and implementing inclusive education strategies.
  • Background in leading successful CPD programs.
  • Familiarity with SEND strategies and policies.
  • Experience in collaborative working with local schools and community organizations.
