Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the school with a clear vision, ensuring alignment with the school’s ethos and strategic goals.
- Develop and implement policies that promote the intellectual, personal, and social development of all students.
- Provide inspirational leadership to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across all subjects and year groups.
- Manage the school’s financial and governance frameworks effectively.
- Build strong relationships with parents, students, and the wider community.
- Support the development of a supportive and inclusive school environment.
- Work closely with the Governing Board to ensure the school meets all regulatory and statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a Headteacher or in a senior leadership role within a secondary school.
- Strong knowledge of educational frameworks, governance, and financial management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of teachers and support staff.
- Deep understanding of curriculum development and student achievement.
- Commitment to the values of belonging, aspiration, and respect.
Preferred
- Experience in leading school improvement initiatives.
- Background in developing and implementing school-wide policies.
- Experience in working with diverse student populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with school improvement and Ofsted inspections.
