Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school with a clear vision, ensuring alignment with the school’s ethos and strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement policies that promote the intellectual, personal, and social development of all students.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across all subjects and year groups.
  • Manage the school’s financial and governance frameworks effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, students, and the wider community.
  • Support the development of a supportive and inclusive school environment.
  • Work closely with the Governing Board to ensure the school meets all regulatory and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Headteacher or in a senior leadership role within a secondary school.
  • Strong knowledge of educational frameworks, governance, and financial management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of teachers and support staff.
  • Deep understanding of curriculum development and student achievement.
  • Commitment to the values of belonging, aspiration, and respect.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading school improvement initiatives.
  • Background in developing and implementing school-wide policies.
  • Experience in working with diverse student populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with school improvement and Ofsted inspections.
