The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher to lead our OFSTED and Catholic Inspection graded Outstanding school. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a dynamic and forward-thinking Catholic learning community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school with a clear strategic vision aligned with the Catholic ethos.
  • Inspire and support staff, pupils, and the wider community to achieve excellence in education and faith.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the school’s mission and values across all aspects of school life.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development for all staff.
  • Work collaboratively with the local parish, parents, and the Catholic Academy Trust to strengthen community engagement.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, including curriculum delivery, pastoral care, and safeguarding.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring that all pupils reach their full potential.
  • Represent the school at local, regional, and national events, promoting the school’s achievements and Catholic mission.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A qualified teacher with significant experience in primary education.
  • Proven leadership experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
  • A practising Catholic with a strong commitment to the Catholic faith and ethos.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a school community.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Experience in managing and developing school staff.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational partnership.
  • Experience with Catholic education and values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in school improvement and Ofsted preparation.
  • A track record of raising standards and achieving outstanding outcomes.
