The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Headteacher's Personal Assistant to provide essential administrative support to the Headteacher, ensuring the smooth operation of the school. This role is central to the efficient management of the school and plays a key part in supporting the Headteacher's leadership and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to the Headteacher.
  • Manage the Headteacher’s diary, correspondence, and meetings.
  • Coordinate school events, meetings, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation and reports are prepared accurately and on time.
  • Support the Headteacher in developing and implementing school strategies and initiatives.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and discretion in all interactions.
  • Assist with the management of senior leadership team meetings and agendas.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure alignment with school objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a senior administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting is essential.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting senior leadership in a school environment.
  • Knowledge of school operations and policies.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Experience in managing complex projects or initiatives.
