The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Headteacher's Personal Assistant to provide essential administrative support to the Headteacher, ensuring the smooth operation of the school. This role is central to the efficient management of the school and plays a key part in supporting the Headteacher's leadership and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to the Headteacher.
- Manage the Headteacher’s diary, correspondence, and meetings.
- Coordinate school events, meetings, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all documentation and reports are prepared accurately and on time.
- Support the Headteacher in developing and implementing school strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and discretion in all interactions.
- Assist with the management of senior leadership team meetings and agendas.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure alignment with school objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a senior administrative role.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Experience in a school or educational setting is essential.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Preferred
- Experience supporting senior leadership in a school environment.
- Knowledge of school operations and policies.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Experience in managing complex projects or initiatives.
