Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay up to date with developments in the field of Computer Science and incorporate new ideas into teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a strong background in Computer Science.
  • Proven experience in teaching Computer Science at key stages 3, 4 and 5.
  • Strong programming skills and knowledge of current industry practices.
  • Commitment to student achievement and pastoral care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Experience with vocational pathways or industry partnerships in technology.
  • Familiarity with teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Leadership experience or a desire to take on a leadership role in the department.
