The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and inspiring Product Design Teacher to join its expanding Technology Faculty. This role offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3–5, with small class sizes and the potential for subject leadership. Ideal for both early career teachers and experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Product Design to students across Key Stages 3–5 using the AQA specification
• Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students
• Contribute to the wider Technology Faculty and school community
• Support student progress and academic achievement
• Participate in curriculum development and staff collaboration
• Promote a culture of innovation and creativity in the classroom
• Provide pastoral care and mentorship to students where appropriate
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in Product Design

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
• Experience teaching Product Design at Key Stages 3–5
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to student success and pastoral care
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

Preferred

• Experience with AQA specification
• Leadership or subject coordination experience
• Involvement in co-curricular or extracurricular activities
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Background in professional development or training
