Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics at all levels, including A Level and Further Maths.
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and targeted feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular and constructive feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education.
  • Ability to teach A Level Maths and a willingness to teach or learn to teach Further Maths.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student success and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching at both GCSE and A Level.
  • Previous experience in a high-achieving school or department.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching Mathematics.
