Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics at all levels, including A Level and Further Maths.
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and targeted feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular and constructive feedback.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education.
- Ability to teach A Level Maths and a willingness to teach or learn to teach Further Maths.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student success and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at both GCSE and A Level.
- Previous experience in a high-achieving school or department.
- Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
- Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching Mathematics.
