Summary:

The Opportunity:

As an HR Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Business Services team through the next phase of growth across multiple locations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a school trust that values collaboration, innovation and the professional growth of its staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR team in the administration of employee records, payroll and personnel processes.
  • Assist in the management of recruitment processes, including candidate selection and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for staff meetings, training sessions and HR initiatives.
  • Collaborate with line managers to ensure HR processes are followed consistently across all locations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the management of employee relations and support the resolution of HR-related queries.
  • Support the delivery of employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in a similar HR or administrative role within an educational setting or multi-academy trust.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all HR-related documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
  • A strong moral purpose and drive for improvement in education and organisational processes.

Preferred

  • Experience with HR software and systems.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience with flexible working arrangements and employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • Experience in a large, multi-site organisation or trust.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on students and staff.
