Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in the planning, delivery, and assessment of the curriculum.
  • Assist with the management and preparation of resources for lessons.
  • Supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff.
  • Provide targeted support to pupils to enhance learning and achievement.
  • Contribute to the development of teaching strategies and support staff.
  • Promote inclusion and support pupils in all aspects of school life.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with school targets.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in education, preferably as a teaching assistant or in a similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge of curriculum delivery and classroom management.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to supporting pupil achievement and inclusion.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school setting with a diverse range of students.
  • Qualifications in education or related fields.
  • Experience with curriculum planning and assessment.
  • Knowledge of teaching strategies for different learning needs.
