Key Responsibilities:
- Teach up to GCSE and A Level History, with experience in A Level Politics being an advantage.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that promote independent learning and critical thinking.
- Support students in achieving excellent academic results and personal growth.
- Participate in the co-curricular life of the school, including clubs and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Provide constructive feedback and assess student progress effectively.
- Support the Head of Department in leadership and management responsibilities, if applicable.
- Contribute to the induction and development of early career teachers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in History.
- Commitment to outstanding teaching and learning.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Experience teaching up to GCSE level.
Preferred
- Experience teaching A Level History and/or A Level Politics.
- Experience in leadership or mentoring roles within a school setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with co-curricular activities and student engagement.
