Key Responsibilities:

Teach up to GCSE and A Level History, with experience in A Level Politics being an advantage.
Deliver high-quality lessons that promote independent learning and critical thinking.
Support students in achieving excellent academic results and personal growth.
Participate in the co-curricular life of the school, including clubs and events.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
Provide constructive feedback and assess student progress effectively.
Support the Head of Department in leadership and management responsibilities, if applicable.
Contribute to the induction and development of early career teachers.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher with relevant experience in History.
Commitment to outstanding teaching and learning.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Experience teaching up to GCSE level.

Preferred

Experience teaching A Level History and/or A Level Politics.
Experience in leadership or mentoring roles within a school setting.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Familiarity with co-curricular activities and student engagement.
