Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality History lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England and CIE IGCSE standards.
• Design and implement engaging and inclusive learning experiences for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the History curriculum.
• Support students through form tutoring and pastoral care when required.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 3 and 4 History.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum of England and CIE IGCSE History.
• Fluent in English with a strong command of grammar and usage.
• Proven ability to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Commitment to student safety and wellbeing.

Preferred

• Experience with form tutoring.
• Background in continuous professional development and teacher training.
• Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework.
• Experience in a British international school setting.
