The Opportunity:

As an HR Administrator, you will be instrumental in supporting the efficient and effective delivery of HR services across a dynamic and growing institution. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of a busy two-site secondary school, ensuring that HR processes are consistently high quality and aligned with the school's values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance and management of the Single Central Record.
  • Assist with daily absence processes and staff data reporting.
  • Manage training records and book relevant professional development courses.
  • Collate and record performance management information.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance and a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation.
  • Liaise with the HR Officer and HR Manager to ensure seamless HR operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in HR administration or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in using HR management systems and office software.

Preferred

  • Experience in the education sector, particularly in a school environment.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Experience with performance management and staff development processes.
  • Familiarity with Safer Recruitment procedures and DBS checks.
