The Opportunity:

As an HR Business Partner, you will provide strategic HR support across the Trust, advising school leaders on employee relations, workforce planning, and compliance. This role is pivotal in ensuring statutory requirements are met, while driving initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture across all schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR advice and support to school leaders and senior management.
  • Manage employee relations, performance, and absence matters in line with policy and legislation.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including KCSIE and safeguarding policies.
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding processes across the Trust.
  • Drive HR initiatives that promote staff wellbeing, engagement, and development.
  • Analyse HR data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted partner, building strong relationships with leaders, staff, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experienced HR professional with strong knowledge of employment law and education sector requirements.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and advise school leaders effectively.
  • Confident in managing employee relations, workforce planning, and compliance matters.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to build trusted relationships across multiple schools and stakeholders.
