The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sickness absence administration and monitor trends to support continuous improvement
  • Provide a professional and consistent HR service to staff, acting as a key point of contact for absence and wellbeing enquiries
  • Support line managers with HR processes, guidance, and consistent practice
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and HR systems across multiple schools
  • Assist with payroll administration, contracts, and staff lifecycle processes
  • Support confidential meetings and ensure accurate HR administration
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance HR functions and improve service delivery
  • Work flexibly across multiple schools and manage competing priorities effectively

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in HR administration and a good understanding of HR processes
  • A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • The ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Experience working in an educational setting

Preferred

  • Knowledge of employment law and education sector processes
  • Experience with HR software and systems
  • Experience in managing sickness absence and wellbeing support
  • Interest in developing HR practice and professional development
  • Experience in a multi-school or partnership environment
