The Opportunity:
As Assistant Principal, you will play a pivotal role in driving school improvement and raising educational standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Co-lead curriculum design and implementation across all year groups
- Oversee teaching quality and professional development for staff
- Monitor student progress and implement targeted support strategies
- Champion pastoral care, safeguarding, and behaviour management systems
- Promote outstanding inclusion for students with SEND, Pupil Premium, and EAL needs
- Collaborate in performance management, recruitment, and staff retention
- Foster strong community and parental engagement
- Support the school's mission to prepare students for success in higher education and future careers
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education
- Strong track record in driving school improvement and raising standards
- Experience in curriculum leadership and development
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and pastoral care systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience in managing and developing teaching staff
- Experience with inclusion strategies for SEND, Pupil Premium, and EAL students
- Background in leading school improvement initiatives
- Experience in fostering strong community and parental engagement
