Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-lead curriculum design and implementation across all year groups
  • Oversee teaching quality and professional development for staff
  • Monitor student progress and implement targeted support strategies
  • Champion pastoral care, safeguarding, and behaviour management systems
  • Promote outstanding inclusion for students with SEND, Pupil Premium, and EAL needs
  • Collaborate in performance management, recruitment, and staff retention
  • Foster strong community and parental engagement
  • Support the school's mission to prepare students for success in higher education and future careers

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education
  • Strong track record in driving school improvement and raising standards
  • Experience in curriculum leadership and development
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and pastoral care systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience in managing and developing teaching staff
  • Experience with inclusion strategies for SEND, Pupil Premium, and EAL students
  • Background in leading school improvement initiatives
  • Experience in fostering strong community and parental engagement
