Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, inquiry-based lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 in subjects such as History, Geography, and Sociology.
- Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and differentiation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the IB and MYP curricula.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the wider academic community.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and lifelong learning.
- Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students as part of a strong, values-driven school culture.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and enrichment programs.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student performance and progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Humanities subjects.
- Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, or related disciplines.
- Experience in delivering curriculum at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Commitment to student progress and inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with the IB or MYP curricula.
- Experience in teaching Religious Studies, Health and Social Care, or Psychology.
- Ability to teach multiple Humanities subjects.
- Experience with CPD and professional development.
- Experience in a collaborative, multi-academy trust environment.
