We are seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher of Humanities to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on students aged 11-16 and contribute to a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Humanities lessons across the curriculum
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve academic, social, and personal growth
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning
• Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular and pastoral activities
• Support the school’s mission to enable students and staff to achieve their best
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure consistent improvement
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Humanities, ideally specialising in Geography
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver a high-quality curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to equal opportunities and inclusive education
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred

• Experience in teaching Geography or related subjects
• Experience with pastoral care and student support
• Familiarity with the use of digital tools in teaching and learning
• Experience in a Multi-Academy Trust or similar educational setting
