The Opportunity:

Join a dynamic Secondary Technology team as an ICT & Computer Science Teacher. This role is ideal for educators passionate about inspiring the next generation of digital innovators and leaders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality ICT and Computer Science lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England.
  • Develop and implement engaging, student-centered learning experiences that promote critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Monitor and assess student progress using a range of assessment strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
  • Stay up to date with developments in ICT and integrate innovative technologies into the classroom.
  • Support students in preparing for GCSE, iGCSE, and other relevant qualifications.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
  • A valid teaching qualification such as QTS, PGCE, or PGDE in Computer Science or a related subject.
  • Experience in teaching ICT or Computer Science at the Secondary level.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student-centered learning and personal development.

Preferred

  • A master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with UK National Curriculum delivery.
  • Familiarity with BTEC qualifications or other international curricula.
  • Experience with digital learning tools and platforms.
  • Fluency in Arabic or other languages spoken in the UAE.
