The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and energetic School Cleaner to join our team across both sites of the school. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall success of the school by supporting a positive and professional working culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all school areas
  • Ensure all classrooms, corridors, and common areas are tidied and sanitized regularly
  • Assist with the cleaning of specialist areas and equipment as required
  • Follow health and safety protocols and report any hazards or issues promptly
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to support the smooth running of the school
  • Adhere to the school's cleaning schedule and procedures
  • Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely and responsibly
  • Support the school’s commitment to a clean and welcoming environment for all

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A proactive and responsible attitude
  • Willingness to learn and follow training provided
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work across both school sites as required

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a school or similar environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Experience with cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards
