The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sports Coach to join our thriving sports department. This role offers the chance to work with talented young athletes and contribute to a successful sports programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong sporting background and a commitment to developing the next generation of athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach sports teams in Rugby, Hockey, and Cricket, supporting athletes at all levels.
  • Run Saturday sports teams across each of the three terms.
  • Support elite performers in their training and development.
  • Assist with the delivery of the school’s sports programme, including fixtures and competitions.
  • Contribute to the preparation and development of young athletes in the Preparatory School.
  • Accompany sports tours when required.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, discipline, and excellence in sports.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Significant expertise in at least one of Rugby, Hockey, or Cricket.
  • Experience of working with young athletes.
  • Enthusiasm for coaching and developing sporting talent.
  • Commitment to the school’s sports programme and values.

Preferred

  • Experience in coaching at a competitive level.
  • Background in sports education or related field.
  • Ability to work across a range of sports disciplines.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
