As an IT Support Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that all members of staff and students receive exceptional service while maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line IT support to staff and students, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Maintain and monitor the school’s network, hardware, and software systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement and support IT security measures, including data protection and compliance with best practices.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and improve the school’s technical infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT problems with a calm and professional approach.
  • Communicate clearly and patiently with users to ensure they understand technical solutions.
  • Keep detailed records of all support activities and system changes for audit and reference purposes.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the school’s IT services.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure/Entra ID.
  • Experience supporting network, server, or enterprise IT environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of data protection and security best practices.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and troubleshoot issues calmly and efficiently.

Preferred

  • Experience with enterprise-level IT systems and cloud-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience in a school or educational institution setting.
