The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Piano Teacher to join a dynamic team of instrumental educators. The role involves teaching individual piano lessons, supporting theory classes, and assisting with concert preparation. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach 1:1 piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
• Support theory classes and assist with concert preparation
• Prepare students for exams, performances, and personal musical development
• Develop and maintain a strong relationship with students and their families
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
• Help set up and guide beginner pupils in their musical journey
• Participate in school events and contribute to the wider music community

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in teaching piano at a 1:1 level
• Strong background in both performance and pedagogy
• Ability to prepare students for exams and performances
• Commitment to working with students of all ages and abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Experience in teaching music theory in small group settings
• Background in accompanying students for concerts and recitals
• Familiarity with music education frameworks and curricula
• Experience with setting up beginner pupils in a structured and encouraging way

Compensation & Benefits:
